The Noah’s Arc Foundation
Founded in 2010, the Noah’s Arc Foundation provides diverse opportunities for youth to become more aware and conscious of their ability to make a positive impact on themselves and their community. The foundation’s art and basketball programs target youth in Chicago’s high-needs communities.
The core programs consist of Expression from the Inside, a series of expressive art workshops, and One City, positioned as an academy system comprising of a men's league, women’s league and free youth basketball clinics.
In 2023 the foundation relaunched its activities in Chicago. It established itself as a key community stakeholder through One City and Expressions from the Inside by collaborating with 28 violence prevention groups on creating safe spaces.
The foundation is supported by the Noah Family, is the recipient of a State of Illinois grant, and is in the process of exploring partnerships with Chicago Public Schools, KIPP Chicago and Distinctive Schools to facilitate off court programming during regular school hours.
