NAF hosts NAF Stand UP Leagues throughout the year to help youth build new relationships, strengthen unity within the city, and stay safe off the streets. Each league lasts six weeks and serves six neighborhood teams consisting of 10 young men, ages 16-24, from the south and west sides of Chicago.

Incidents of violence rise right along with the temperatures in the summer. Therefore, in partnership with the Major Adams Community Committee, NAF hosts an intensive league with games two nights a week from June through August.

All players became ambassadors for the Drop of Consciousness™ movement, bringing messages of peace, positive change and non-violence back to their neighborhoods.

NAF partners with schools, organizations, community centers, and individual coaches to train and support them in providing the NAF Stand UP League experience to their youth. This includes providing partners with our evidenced based curriculum developed by NAF Community Directors Cobe Williams and Mikey Davis of "The Interrupters" in partnership with NAF Co-Founder and President Cécilia Rodhe as well as ongoing training, materials, support, evaluation tools, and impact reports.
